Took the wreck in for it's yearly 'check-up' and lo and behold I needed a anti-roll bar link and a bulb!!! Which resulted in a total bill for £102.50...! (Incl MOT).

Although not too bad considering it was clear last year, and the year before and only requiring a drop-link the year before that! Could have been worse I suppose...

Today I have fixed my reversing sensors, cruise control switch on my clutch paddle, replaced the wiring loom in my n/s rear light and also fitted a saloon tow bar to a tourer! All that needed "adapting" was a piece of 40x40 box for the towing eye bracket. Oh almost forgot I also fitted some projector headlamps as well!

Not bad Bill.
I had to have 4 road springs on mine this year, that I was not budgeting for.
Clear the on the last 2 MOTs though.

Standard price around here...??? Unless you have a Service, (itself a rip-off) done at the same time.

I firmly believe that these places that do discounted MOT's get their money by other means and it ends up costing you more than the standard 50 quid in the end!

I've taken all my cars here for the last 12 years and ALWAYS had good, fair service.

I know Bob! No complaints here really considering it could have been like your experience - it would have been off the road for me!!!

Also doubly thankful as I have robbing road tax at the end of the month.....

See you soon Bob...

ps. Actually I was thinking isn't there a nice pub near you where we could meet up one lunchtime and grab a 'bite'...? I'd like that..

If that is the case then you're very lucky to only pay that much! I've been paying 50 for years!
