I am not at the stage to get this done yet as the welding has not been sorted yet. Tom Hobbs who you used is a bit too far for me, so am currently checking out the local classic car restorers in my area hoping to find one who can do as good a job as Tom. After that will look in to this job. |

They took off all my lights at the back and tailgate ( tourer) door panelings and shot in there too. The back lights were both fully removed and they drilled a tiny hole behind them in between outerskin and inner skin placed a 5 foot rod down and blasted inside the cars cavities. The thing about this stuff, is quite right what Dawn has said its see through, so you can see any up and coming corrosion it takes a little bit of getting used too, is a little ginger red steel work underneath as we are all expecting gloss black finish etc , nope that's not what you get , however a year on and my floor on my car even when stroked with a hammer is rock solid. They showed how it works, stops umpteen years of under floor rust dead in its tracks, so as long as the floor is not holed the ginger red colouring makes no difference rust is STOPPED at that time end of. They shot water onto the ginger red steel work it bounced off its like a bullet proof vest see through. Then they showed me water on normal steel FIRST ! then placed on the steel T40 it crept onto the steel and pushed away the water 100% you can see before your eyes it looked alive like the blob. You never have to do your cavities again! the under flooring every two years blast the exposed flooring which around £130 every two years at today's prices , I have had mine done since last year and the last TWO MOTS no steel work, my suspension arms i replaced before T40 have been on one two years and one last years look like brand new shiny black still as the T40 sits on the factory paint. I can vouch for this stuff, i have nothing to do with Krown so this is customer feedback only, you want your ROVER 75 to last the test of time, you gotta find solutions to protect. The off shoot of the T40 which is not widely expressed is the door lock hinges , windows, brakes, etc which none ever make a sound due to this stuff creeping around its all lubricated. Now that I'm well again I've been under the ZT and cleaned and painted. I tink the key with Krown is you need a fairly decent starting car. Its no good taking one that's a rust bucket and expecting miracles. My floor is back to factory blue ready for the T40. I think the finish puts people off but as I said, I want to see what's going on. I am buying a few top up cans as well for in between.
