We are now booked for a trip in September - as long as things go to plan - SWMBO was booked in for an op on her toe before lockdown - but obviously that all went for a ball of chalk

It’s a relatively simple issue - a bit like some people have a finger that “tightens” and they cannot straighten it, her second to big toe on one foot is pulled right back so she is actually walking on the nail

They said they would not do anything at first but then with a bit of non too subtle dialogue from me - we had an Appt in Lymington and it was booked for March.

Now we have had a txt saying that it could be August - but we are not holding our breath.....

Itching to get out there - all we have seen so far is two kilos of lovely plums which most are now jam.

So all being well it should be Sept. my son and DiL were out there for nearly four weeks and had fun getting the water, electric and internet connected. But the French Estate Agent was superb and pretty much organised the lot!

My son said social distancing all seemed very relaxed, very well organised and things are functioning well.

We watch the reports of French “spikes” with interest.
