That is very good news Julien

A shock here from the heat, 26C. Today, I have been checking the tents for condition, thirsty work. We are heading out into a remote region camping on 20 December. A cheeky monkey jumped onto one the tents and cut it with its long nails. A roll of Gorilla tape should do the trick.

That trip sounds brilliant, for many of us a trip of a life time, how are you both on the health stakes,

Julien

Thank you Julien. Jessica’s back is definitely improving, she is out of the wheelchair. A masseuse has been visiting and she has been seeing a Japanese chiropractor for acupuncture and manipulation. Jessica uses meditation for “mind over matter”.

Despite the aneurysms, I am keeping fairly upbeat about everything and looking forward to heading off into the bush. 26 family and friends, are going camping in tents high up on an escarpment overlooking the plains - the landowner picked out a spot for us to camp. Some of the younger ones are going ahead of us climbing up to the summit of Mount Kenya 12,000 feet. As you said, it’s a trip of a lifetime, an adventure. I subscribe to The Flying Doctor service, but I am not anticipating using their services.

Derek is never far away from my thoughts. We are coming up to his anniversary of his passing .....17 December. I expect it’s the same for you and most of us here, thinking about the ones we have loved and lost, family and friends.

December 2016, we lost Woof25 and Trimani, now Freddie.

How lucky we are to have known them all.

Evening all, I have been left to cook as Deb is at work until 10:30, a nice chili ready with a few chili peppers added (I can do this as Deb isn't here to stop me)
