Default siemens vdo to erisin uprade

Hi,

Have bought a erisin sat nav double din to replace the siemens vdo unit currently in the car, having a problem trying to suss out the wiring to change the units over. Have attached a few photos, if some magician knows the answer!

The first photo is the vdo unit i am taking out, second is the iso lead supplied with the erisin and the third photo is the existing wiring loom in the car.

Thanks. Steve.

You need a BMW to ISO connector

Thats what i have been looking for but nothing seems to match up with the existing connectors and the lead supplied with the erisin unit

have looked at that lead a few times but how does that match up between the erisin connections and the loom in car?
Sorry if i am being silly here!!

Ah, just looked again at your pics, the second pic are the connectors for earlier cars (BMW) loom, the last pic shows the plugs which are fitted to later cars,(ISO) so should plug straight in.

Thats what i thought but the last picture i put up shows the back of the erisin unit and the connectors in the existing loom will not tally up!?

Got me stumped then Perhaps someone else knows
Does the big black plug not match the adapter plug? Or perhaps the 2 smaller plugs from the car loom fit into the black one?
