I havent come across these plugs, as any battery I have purchased before came without them (and when I used to sell them, sealed batteries were not common lol). I only commented as the bumph that came with my battery, was very 'insistent' on their removal, to the point of almost threatening death or injury if they were not removed lol.

I have seen images of the V8 and noticed the battery in the wheel well with the drain pipe fitted to vent outside the car. It would make sense to keep one blocked and t'other sealed to allow it to vent outside. Maybe there were two at some point? Perhaps someone can advise further?
