Very useful information, I received my GSM relay last week but not looked at it yet.

2 questions

Can the GSM unit be mounted under the bonnet?

Would it be OK to just power up the FBH as I don’t want to turn the climate control on?

Yes you can mount under the bonnet but i would recommend mount inside the cabin . Heat and vibration may cause issues .

Yes you can just use relay one to power up the fbh .

The unit will be ok in the battery box if you want to fit under the Bonnett

That's a good idea - it would save me having to run wires through the bulkhead to the engine bay ...

Best and most simple option for you if you dont want the ATC connected
