Default Finally pics of our diesel tourer Connie se

Perhaps not our finest purchase due to a few faults but we are working through the issues.

81k miles with some sort of android headunit sat Nav unit fitted, appears to have been owned by a bit of a 75 enthusiast, been resprayed and not a 100% match but a good finish overall appears to have been done due to possible lacquer peel, appears to have been resprayed in two pack
Egr blanked off, inline thermostat mod done tow bar+ electrics

Everything electrical inside the car seems to work with the exception of the cruise control (probably just the pedal switches but haven't bothered with it yet) and the drivers heated seat doesn't get warm.
Having already replaced the clutch and flywheel and other bits like lower arm and bushes and strut top mounts and giving it a service (haven't done the oil and filter yet). It's getting better and the to do list is getting smaller.

Click a pic below to enlarge.

Does anyone have any info on this headunit?

That's looking like a good purchase.

I like the colour.

Wishing you all the best with her.

The headunit looks like one of the early Radioguy units.

Good luck with the work.

Lightbulb

I have checked the paint code but as I say, the match isn't the best. The door openings haven't been sprayed and are, I believe, the original colour.

Nice!

The DD unit is a WinCE unit. Might be Radioguy, might be some other OEM Ching brand. Does not really matter because there is no tweaking these units (well you can but it's extremely tricky). On the plus side: if it works it works. No problems to be expected as it is with Android units.

So enjoy the car and the WinCE unit. Both will run for ages

Do you have the colour code, or photos of the door shuts (are they a completely different colour ?? )

It's always difficult to tell from photos, but my guess is either Gulf Stream or Midnight Blue - depends on the lighting when you took the pics.

With that mileage and cruise control, I'm sure it's a nice car whatever colour it is
