How many phones do you have connected?
The maximum REN per line is Four.
Normal phones are REN of one and Internet Line is also a REN of one, but some can be much higher.

Are you using the right connector on Computer/Phones etc each phone requires it own for Broadband equipped lines.

You need to be a bit more specific....you loose dial tone or the phone doesn't ring...?

REN is Ring Equivilance Number. Most phones are generally 1 to 1.5. The guide is 4 in total.

Easy way to check is unplug all the phones bar one and the PC....If it's still the same then it's your PC, if it's not, then your over the limit of REN.

I assume you're using it for faxing..?

If so why not used a web based one over broadband.
