Expected but still a shock. Condolences to his family and friends. Might seem a strange thing to say but with that level of stroke its probably for the best. I know I often wondered if my father had survived how much of "him" would have been left. He was such an active man I know he wouldn't have wanted to go on like that.

I went into one of his old haunts to dust the cobwebs just a short while ago and I gave him a mention while I was there, that was at 15.56 so I just caught him in time. God bless you Bob.

All the happiness that used to be

Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

And then I'll hold you in my dreams

I am at a loss of quite what to say. I never had the good fortune of meeting Bob, always enjoyed his posts, and as others have said "innit" will always be associated to Bob as far as I'm concerned.
My sincerest condolences go to his family and friends.
The frailty of live should remind us all to live it to the full.

RIP Bob (innit)

Always sad when a club member passes away,( innit) never had the pleasure to meet Bob, but RIP James Uk Your memory will live on in the club. Sincere condolences to Mike and the rest of the family, at least it didn't drag on and he didn't suffer.
