Not been on for a while, but have just seen this.

Barry was a regular face at the Caldecotte meets I started back when I was South central RS. Had many a chat with him at the meets and am gutted to read the news. My thought go out to his family at this sad time... RIP Barry.

So very, very sad to hear such news. Barry was a true Yorkshire gentleman, even though he had moved into Suffolk, really proud to have known him, first met him at Doncaster nano-meet

I expected to see him at East Kirby and pm'd him after the event when he told me of his recent health scare saying he would contact me when he had improved and now this.
Sincere condolences to his all his family.
Rest in peace beejay sir, you will be missed.

In memory of Barry, we (Ricardo, Deb and myself) Have decided that we will be awarding a trophy annually at one of our meets.

The trophy will go to the best standard 75 or zt (As Barry preferred things left standard)

The trophy will be marked with the winners name and registration number, they will then get to keep the trophy for 12 months before handing it back to be awarded again.

It's the least we could to to mark the passing of one of the clubs Gentlemen.
