Unfortunately I am away on holiday otherwise I would have gone being only 30 miles away.
Weather appears to be fine to give him a fitting goodbye.
RIP Barry

Default A sunny day...............

.........................for Barry's send off, blue sky and sunny all the way. Along with Bluebird, Trikey, Jonty, Suffolk Boy, Freddie and myself attended Barry's send off.
We got to meet Barry's twin Sister Sonia, who had travelled over from Kansas USA.
A very moving service, it's not till these sad occasions do you learn so much about the person that has passed.

Only Suffolk Boy was the only one not able to attend the wake at Brandon House Hotel, Val and I stayed here about 10years ago for a wedding reception.
A buffet was laid out and there was plenty of tea and coffee, or something stronger if required was available.

Barry's son David gave a speech and thanked us for attending. We toasted Barry's health. Then it came as a surprise when David announced that the family and himself wanted to come out and see our cars in Honour of Barry. Photo's were taken of our cars, especially Freddie's engine bay. Plus photo's of Banana's dashboard.

Time to say our goodbye's.

I'll post up a few pictures once home.

RIP Barry J. Pitts.

Well, what a send off for a true Gentleman. The service was very emotional but brought smiles to all that attended. It was a pleasure to meet up with Barry's family and chat about his love of the marque and about his life in general.

As Bob said, the sun shone, everyone looked over the cars (Yes Barry, you had your very own mini meet!)

Rest in peace my friend, im sure your cruising about in an arran white V6 with your good lady right now..

See you again one day.
