Mark,

Is there room to get a hacksaw blade in there and cut a groove across the top of the bolt? If so, you might then be able to use a cold chisel at the bolt’s circumference and with a few sharp taps it might loosen sufficiently for you to unscrew it.

Just tried that didn't work cant even get a hacksaw in there. Bit stuck now. Having to reconsider. Looks like ive either got to drill the bolt out, leave the seat where it is and work around it somehow or just put a dehumidifier in there and see how that works. Thanks anyway.

drill it in the centre then buy a reverse thread bolt after tapping it out as you tighten the bolt in it will in turn un-tighten the seat bolt. failing that drive to you local garage and get them to spot weld a bolt on top.

Actually would they work on the seat bolts? The bolts have got the Hex part in the middle the outside of the bolt is round with no gripping surface to bite onto. Wouldn't they just slip on it?

You hammer them on to the bolt head, they are hardened steel so dig in to the bolt, as you turn it, it grips tight & removes the bolt.
