Up to 50 items checked in around one and a half hours, and people thought dealers were ripping them off......

An hour and a half? For the 'A' service right?
I have done 'C' on my diesel auto a little bit at a time over a few weeks, checked things underneath more thoroughly than the instructions in RAVE. I'd guess the book time for a 'C' service would be 4-5 hours? Goodness knows how long it took me but more than double that - I was being very careful and precise about it all, although I couldn't do the pressure/concentration tests (& T4 done last winter). But good to know that there is nothing else added to the schedule I was working to.

No manufacturer would allow a standard time of 4-5 hours for a service. To put into comparison the V6 cambelt change is just over 5. My memory isn’t as good as it used to be but I’d say it was around 1.5 -2 hours for a C service. We never charged for T4 updates as once you’d got as far as checking you just hit the button to complete...
