wish i had spotted this a couple of weeks ago hahah somehow I managed to get it off in one piece tugging on it .. but this makes perfect sense

Just had to replace the actuator unit on mine as the holes into which the tabs fit had broken. The instructions on replacing the glass were very useful as it isn't obvious even when you have removed the glass from the old actuator
