How to remove boot floor?
Hi, my mk1 zt tourer has a boot floor that’s a bit lazy to rise (there a little gas strut which pushes it up)
However on my 75, which I’m scrapping, it’s great. How do I remove them so I can swap? Last edited by Eddiebassman; 13th September 2021 at 12:49.. |

At the top and bottom of the strut is a clip that slots in, remove this and the strut will come away easily

In the event that it does not do well, they are cheap to buy.
I bought a stronger one for my Tourer because I have the rubber mat that covers the load area and it is too heavy for the standard gas strut |
