Done a few handbrakes and never seen any pitting on the inside of the drum, probably the shoes are glazed and when roughed up with a dreadnought file and adjusted you'll notice a marked improvement. Regards |

Sorry, but some of those faults are due to neglected regular maintenance. Worn tyre? Anti- lock braking system. Easily seen on dashboard (light). Handbrake. Easily noted when applying hand brake. Oh dear. Poor car.

Our Rover passed the MoT today. Pleased but still ongoing issue with needing EasyStart. Going to another garage tomoz. Apparently he’s ex-Rover mechanic. Fingers crossed.
