Default Ztt diesel exhaust replacement

Hi all looking at replacing my exhaust Mk2 Ztt diesel. The one that is fitted to mine falls short of the rear bumper so you can’t see the twin pipes pointing out/down I think someone one has fitted a saloon one ? Are there any differences between MK1 or Mk2 estate models. Can anyone recommend a replacement if they have had this problem.
Thank you
Jt.

It's quite often a problem with tourers, most of the aftermarket ones fit saloons and don't have the right outlets for a ZT.

Easiest way is to alter one with longer straight outlets.

I had a similar thing recently when I replaced the silencer on the Volvo, I could only get hold of a box with a downturned outlet( unless I got an original at £450. Ouch!) and no chrome trim so chopped the outlet off my old one that wasn't corroded and welded it on to the new box.

Fits better than it's ever done, with the pipe central in the bumper cut out now

Russ

I got one fitted at wilco a few weeks ago at wilco and it looked awful.
They have the same part number for a ZT and a 75 but Zt ones are a few inches longer
I cut the tail pipes back and fitted some turneddown tailpipe trims from amazon

That’s what I’m now thinking they only do them for a 75 as their hidden on both MK1 and Mk2 no cut out in the rear bumper of either very annoying

I had a stainless steel one made for my ZTT. Cheaper than buying an original at the time and is fit and forget.
It's been on my car since 2009 and hasn't needed touching.
