Junk Email & Contact.
I have over the past couple of months been getting emails where my email address is amongst other emails and as such get forwarded on, then i get junk emails about utter rubbish.
These emails which have come via members whom may also inadvertently used my email to pass on jokes, politics, prices of fish & chips etc in all rubbish. You may find if you try to email me you have been blocked this is not because i do not want you to contact me or i have fallen out with you etc, its because i only use my email address for R75 MGZT emails and messages so you have been swept up and sent to my junk email and therefore would have been blocked from future contact. If you find that you are one of these members through inadvertently forwarded email you would have to PM me so i can lift the block from you, i thank you all for you time and co-opperation. Arctic

Does anyone know whom this is i keep marking it as phishing email.
Also block the sender -email but it returns with a different address, this can happen for quite a while then nothing for weeks but start again so i am wondering as someone's email been hacked and it is being used by different people or the same person with different address. 1 2 3 I will post here up different one i receive, as anyone else had the same from this Bruce Sanderson https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report-phishing

It seems so, i have had this ongoing for over 18months -2yrs now, same person different email address, it seems he must have been hacked at some point? and if for any reason he contacted you while that was going on you may get this Junk. Personally i would have closed that email account, maybe he did ? also get other ones to which may have been contacted by said BS example below today. 1 2 I can deal with several of these a in a few weeks than nothing, until Bruce turns up again.

Agreed, from what you say it does look like he's had his email address hacked at some time, I would have been using a now defunct club address if I'd had any previous contact with him.
Not really had a problem with spam or phishing since changing my address after Amazon decided it was a great idea to sell my previous one to all and sundry, at it's height I was receiving upwards of 100 a week mainly from the US, I now use several dedicated addresses. Jim |

Not had any for a while then 10 minutes ago right after Bruce as posted on the forum, i have had one again, now i expect these to go on for a few weeks now
Posting on Rick-sta activating volumetric alarm sensor, i have not opened that post and will not open any post that Bruce Sanderson starts or posts on. can the management please look into this, is it a coincidence ? who knows does Bruce know his email is being used in the way? lots of questions but no answers

I haven't had any spam emails for a long time. Used to quite enjoy hearing from the window of the late General of the Nigerian Army.
Perhaps she's found a more deserving admirer. |
