It is a stunning car. MGR products should be exempted from vel on the basis of good looks and historical importance.

Surely if it was paid monthly it wouldn't be an issue?

It is my car.... and just to be clear.....I do not want to sell it for spares...... I would love it to continue as I've spent a little fortune on it.

But the feedback I'm getting......as well as the usual snide comments (mainly on FB) is saying that yes, the tax bracket is killing the sale.

And when i said spares...... I meant that I'd retain the wheels and stereo and sell it with replacement items meaning that it wont be original.....Mind you.....it's not original now LOL

But it would be better for me to be sold like it is.

I would hang in there an ignore the negative comments, the road tax wont be an issue for anyone serious about buying it..........and I think it's a cracking car...you have done a good job

Being the previous owner, I can vouch what a good car this is, along with the cosmetic changes to the interior, and the vortex wheels and nearly new tyres that the current owner has made. In the previous months before selling the car I replaced all the belts and water pump, new front springs and top mounts, and new rear wheel bearing.
