Default R.I.P WUZERK (My father)

Frederick Geoffrey Williams - (26/11/1935 - 24/09/2017)

My wonderful father passed away on Sunday September 24th 2017 at 5.55am, following a lengthy battle with Bone and prostate cancer and diabetes.

Fred was a man mountain, strong and gentle, kind and caring, a sense of humour instant and infectious and loved by everyone who had the good fortune to meet him. He would help anyone and everyone, and still had the capacity and desire to make us laugh till his last breath. He was my best friend, my rock, the man I turned to for everything, and he was the greatest man I have ever known.

Known here on the 75 & ZT Owners club that he loved so much, as WUZERK, dad was a car mad enthusiast all of his life, and his beloved Rover 75 was his pride and joy for ten years. Dad fought to the end and had just fitted a new double din system and wired it in but never got to see it in action, even hoping to fit one for my car which is on order now. Anyone who remembers me, ALPACA, will know that dad's car inspired me to also buy a Rover 75, ROXY, which I still own and love after nine years of ownership. My father left his Rover 75 to me, and I will love and cherish his car forever, with my own 75 being passed to my wife. We will now have two beautiful 75's on our drive and my dad will be with me wherever I go.

May I take this opportunity to say thank you so much to everyone here, on this wonderful clubsite who have helped, bantered and spoken with my dad, he loved his time learning new things or helping others.

WUZERK'S funeral will be a loud, proud, colourful affair, with happy memories and laughter exactly as he would have wanted.

Kindest regards

Paul

Paul

I'm so sorry to read your sad news, I never had the pleasure of meeting your father but found his posts over the years to be both amusing and informative.

My most sincere condolences to you, your family and his friends.

Paul, I am very saddened to hear of your father's passing. I never had the good fortune to meet him, but know he was a regular in the club.

Once again, it is my sad duty to fly the forum banner at half mast. All my very best to the family and I'm pleased to see that his pride and joy will continue to be cherished by you.
