Question GSM Reception

A quick question for all who have installed a GSM unit in their car to remotely control the FBH.

How good is your reception?

Just txt Csq to the GSM and it will reply (if respond is turned on) with a value.

today I'm getting 11,0
Yesterday was as high as 15,0

But I have no datum/reference to establish if either is good or bad??

Why am I asking?
Long story, but I have had to change to Vodaphone (via ASDA) and every night the GSM looses signal and does not regain the signal unless I turn the unit off then back on.

So before I start spending on new antennas etc etc I would like to understand better how good/bad my reception is without any changes.

I can’t give a very helpful comment I’m afraid as both our cars have gsm remotes fitted, they work fine but mobile reception where I live is awful so that tends to be the issue rather than the gsm units.
