Use M6 galvanized bolts, about 25mm long oon the back two. A little more hassel, but the tray will stay on.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but do you use the clips and screws as a unit, or do the screws fit the Rover clips?

Does this thread mean it isn't possible to get the real thing, like the half-turn fasteners for the front of the pan any more?

Hiya... I had to replace some of the clips, but the bolts fit the original clips...

Thanks. I've ordered a set.

Hopefully they'll stop the tray flapping in the breeze.

They keep turning up on ebay, both new and second hand. I bought some to replace some that were missing on mine from RoverCity.

I made all of the screws captive to the panel, with some tight around the shank of the screws - home made washers of soft plastic. They make it an easy job to remove / refit and no lost screws.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

The M6 will go on very tight. I used a cordless drill with a 10mm socket and adapter to remove and out it back on. Once you do this, the normal fixings will not work.
Even on jacks, it is not a problem, and I don't plan on doing it too often.
At least I know it is secure.

Enjoy.
