they go to a diversity amp mounted on the offside rear pillar
that has a little connector going the the HRW elephant for Nav install you realy ought to take the parts out of the donor yourself as it helps immensely when putting it back together. |

Hi everyone, thanks for your input, glad i am not the only one confused about which fan motor fits which model.
I think the best way to go now is Bumper Stripdown and carry out some tests when i find what type of motor is fitted. Thanks again for all your help Nick. |

Before you strip anything down have a look through the grill and at the fan, if you can see a silver resistor then you may have a problem. If however you do not have the resistor then as Keith (the oracle) said it sounds as if it is doing what it should. ( Keith is seldom wrong) Cheers...

Nick,
If the temp gauge is moving (after the car has warmed up) from the mid point or a whisker under then I think something is amiss. As you may have seen from this thread : http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ead.php?t=7580 the temp gauge is in reality a 'normal gauge'. Thus if the needle has moved up from the midpoint the temp is outside the normal range and something is wrong. It may not be the fan of course - it could be something else which is causing the temp to be at the high end of normal which would in itself cause the fan to run at top speed in an attempt to keep the temp within the normal parameters. |
