On the Noble I have 975 BAM, my son's initials.
My wife's Discovery has 525HLM,my daughters initials. If they behave they'll get them on their own cars in a few years time.
I have R55NCY on my 75 which looks nothing like REGENCY part of the company name, but for £250 at the time I thought "where's the harm"!

That plate is owned by the Vauxhall VXR brand. Often seen on
their halo press car.

I have the plate P6 RVR on my 75, which translates to Rover P6.
I bought the plate from the DVLA and the plate had never been used on a vehicle before.

Personal plates and 4 wheel drives. Seem to go together. Not my cup of tea but each to their own.

Never really seen the point myself. When I was a kid I used to put my initials on my clothes so they didn't get mixed up in PE lessons, but it seems unlikely with the car. The ones that tell you 'what it is' don't seem that good either. I already know, anyone who's interested can tell, and those who aren't interested don't care.....

Hedging your bets there Clyde.......if the AA or RAC can't fix it, go for the advice of the Owners Club

Not all 4x4s are shopping trolleys, some are used to traverse the countryside in order to inspect the construction of pipelines.

Just saying.

Recent spots in our garage: Not owned by me I might add.

1 CUE - Aston Martin

ENZ10 - Ferrari

WONGA - BENTLEY (Don't know how they got this )

About a dozen others either starting, or ending with a single 1. All Mercs, Bentleys, Porsche's, and a 1930's Sunbeam Talbot.

We recently had Eddie Jordon's 55 Metre Sunseeker name of BLUSH, moored outside. Cool £33 Milion.

Personally I would like 'ALF1E'

How the rich do live.
