Just wanted to say an absolutely Massive THANK YOU to Peter for sorting out my IPK this morning. What a great bloke, a pleasure to meet and to have a line free screen now and the added bonus of the Digital Speed readout is just brilliant.

You made it all look so easy Peter. I am so grateful. I drove back home in the pouring rain with a huge smile on my face. Many thanks.

Klarzy (Pete) is your man, he is in March.

Another big thank you to Pete from me for also sorting my display out this afternoon,

I was thinking as I drove back to Peterborough, my 75 is now perfect as I wafted along comfortable, smooth and warm, whilst outside it was a miserable day.

Sorry John, satnavs are out of my area... but if you have an OEM satnav I would consider taking all of the bulk out of the car and replacing the whole system with a single double din Navall unit from Radioguy...

it does everything the OEM does and so much more...

Pete I think he's talking about the low line sat nav instruction on the IPK display, which is definitely your area.

Just to add that if it is the oem head unit that needs attention unfortunately we do not repair those.
We only deal with aftermarket branded units at the present time, sorry.

Hi Pete

I must commend you for what you have done, but you did take a massive gamble and paid way over the odds for the 2 LCD's. Those LCD's that are used in the MG7, only cost about £5 each to manufacture & should retail well under £20 per LCD.

With that in mind, me and Phil-T4 had a discussion yesterday. As he also thinks that you took a big gamble, but it payed off. Those were his words. As I work in the electronics industry, I have given him the name of a worldwide parts sourcing suppler. To both the auto and the electronics industry, based here in the UK. Not far from where Phil lives, he is going to contact them tomorrow.

I am hoping that this will be a better way, of sourcing those LCD's. It will save you having to import them, and paying all the additional charges on top. It will also mean that the cost per LCD, will be far less. And it will make it far cheaper for everyone concerned. Using a UK based company that has big buying power, makes far more sense.

I hope you don't mind this intervention, I don't like seeing people being ripped off. A little bit of help from those of us in the electronics industry, can make a big difference to things like this. Because if this pays off, it will remove the greedy Chinese contact that you have had to deal with. And it will be a win, win situation for everyone concerned if my suggestion works out.

Kind regards.
Anthony.
