Thank you so much, I do not mind at all, if we can work together to get the price down to an acceptable level then that is a win win for everyone...
Sean (Radioguy) and Mat (DMGRS) are also on the case of trying to hunt down a good supply line... If we can get the supply / install price down to below the £80.00 mark then I think most folks would be very interested... It would also mean the renewal of many would be dead message centre IPK's which could then be repurposed to give all owners a reasonably priced message centre upgrade option.... But then the cost of button stalks would go through the roof.... I must say I have searched for over 6 months for a supplier and the 2 I did find were within a few dollars of each other....

This is very promising news, let's all hope it comes to fruition. I have to admit that I would be very, very interested if the price was able to come in at £80-100 mark.
Waiting now with even more baited breath Many thanks to Pete, and now others that this may become a reality |

Thanks Steve, we both had a nice Christmas. I also had a great birthday, so I will be a half century at the end of this year. I hope both you and Gail had a nice time to.

Pete is there a part no for the LCD? Not a Rover/Rimmers/X-Part no, but the actual part no printed on or near the screen or invoice.
You have probably searched for it, but the more peeps on the case, the more likely we may get a result. I cant believe the part is exclusive to the 75/zt. Someone mentioned before that they were sure it was used on an old JVC audio system.

I have searched through the net and specialist electronics suppliers for heading on for a year now and this is the only supply I have been able to utilise. They are listed for the Roewe / MG7, if used in other items such as audio equipment you need to ask how often would they fail and would anyone bother to stock them for such disposable items...??
