Default Ah, so that's a facelift!

In case you didn't know.

Default Facelift

I don't think that is a facelift bumper because the the headlamps should be single large oval shape, not separate mainbeam and dipped lamps.

That is the same as the one used on the ZT 500 as owned and restored by the MGOC.

To give you some idea of how radical the kit was, look at the side profile below. Roger Parker told me that the restoration of these unique parts was expensive and that a kit would cost in excess of £2000. I don't know if this bumper will have come from the same mould, or if it may have been taken off another pre-production car.

By the way, that bumper won't fit a normal ZT without the wheel arch extensions as shown on the ZT500 in my post above.

I remember seeing a brand new (04 plate) ZT in a dealership a couple of years ago (almost bought it) before the troubles. That had the same front - ie the new grill and the "old" lights. I think there was an intermediate facelift produced for a short while - let me know if I am wrong!

I don't know about that, but I must say I much prefer that to the eventual facelift. I always thought the "quad" lamp style was one of the most attractive features of our cars.
