Default water ingress in left hand side of my tourer

hi once again all this is an old problem just hope someone has come up with a solution i have just bought my 02 tourer (3 weeks now) we have had some really heavy rain this past week so thought i would check out the boot as i had a problem with water ingress now i find i have the same problem with this one the car was covered hen i bought it so was dry as you know there is a little step down ih the side of the boot on the left this is where it is really wet has anyone came up with definite answers to this problem i remember seeing posts about this i am really gutted to find this problem again i just hope someone can give me some positive solution many thanks in advance

Exterior waist trim fixings.
Had leaks from these on both saloon and tourer in the past..

Thumbs up This may help

Same here. Basically , forced Chrome Trim away fron bodyshell a little with matchsticks . pumped loads of Silicone all along - especially where grips are.
Removed matchsticks . cleaned off excess silicone. Leaks killed dead!

Can also leak from the side window glass.
