I have just read this exhaustive list, well done!
A couple of amendments - Projector headlamps were introduced from October 2002 as one of a number of new features for the 2003 Model Year cars, and Sports suspension was available (although not actively publicised beyond the sales literature and price lists) on pre-facelift examples from approximately November 2004. The alloys wheels Y Spoke, Broad Spoke and Cross Spoke for 2000, were announced in 1999 through the sales literature but became available in the late autumn of that year. This, together with some of the trim levels, was done as part of a phased introduction.

Good extra info, thanks.
Re: the projector headlamps, my September 02 registered 2003 year model connoisseur SE has these fitted, and according to the EPC they were available from VIN number 261240, which is an approximate build date of the first week of August 2002. |

That said, I don't think any Mk.1's have appeared with sports suspension. Sports suspension was a £660 option on the Facelift 75 from introduction in January 2004. The Y Spoke [£749], Broad Spoke [£699] and the Cross Spoke [£749] alloys are shown in the March 1999 Approved Accessories brochure AKM 703 so were available from the introduction of the 75. Dave T |

I am guessing that the three mentioned alloy wheel designs were promoted in the time of the 75's launch (June 1999) but were not available immediately at launch (along with a few trim level and engine combinations) due to the need for a phased introduction, as the 75's sales launch in the UK coincided with those for other market territories. I would think they were officially made available from September 1999 onwards at a time when the 2000 Model Year full lineup was entering production and the model had been launched in the majority of its market territories.

great post. i was wondering if my wheels were standard as i am having trouble locatiing one, but they seem to be the 16 inch 7 spoke Connoisseur wheels. Could anyone help with a part number and did these wheels get known by a seperate name?

Do any of the 75's have Traction Control
Guys, I'm wondering if it's the ZT's that only have traction control or is it in some of the 75's?

It was an extra cost option for both 75s and ZTs. It would have cost an extra £300 @ 2001 prices, and went up to £325 by 2003.
I have it on both my 75 V6 and ZT 180 SE Sports Auto |
