Welcome to the lounge Rav, thank you for those positive thoughts How are you?

We are having a bit of luxury this weekend, staying in a B&B in Cape Town. A nice room with TV and all mod cons. The land lady asked us to go easy on the loo paper and not to use more than 5 sheets at a time. Her last guests were young and used up half a roll of toilet paper per flush. How she knew that, I haven’t a clue. But she said they blocked up the pipes to her septic tank. There was a message in the bedroom on the pillows “Thank you for not smoking” - as it is, we don’t smoke and another message saying to limit the shower use to 2 minutes because of the water shortage. Overall it’s a lovely little B&B Tomorrow we are back on the farm on the mountain.

I don't post in here all that often but i think it's a shame that people make a decision to leave altogether. It always feels a little final to make that sort of decision rather than just lurk for a while if some others have upset you in a different thread.
I had owned my 75 a coupla years before i joined here and it was the general cummunity spirit of this place is what made me join as a member as well as paying back a little for the combined knowledge of the enthusiasts on here that had helped me save a small fortune on repairs and lots of other little tips. Since then i've also met a great bunch of fellow owners and traders that confirmed that choice to be the right one to make and maybe i have a little thicker skin than some but i really hope those that presently feel upset by other's actions and words will eventually find the resolve to return as they will be missed.

Good afternoon Pete, just acknowledging your post and I am in complete agreement about being thick skinned as it does help. The ones who have left are getting on with their lives, a lot of them we will get to see again at various meets across the nation. Some of the banned stay in touch.

The chill out ROOM, is no busier than here IMO, I for one won't be leaving this club, or stopping my posting.
I don't post as much now I haven't got my Rover, but still visit every day, not just here, but the whole forum.

Thanks Phil although you can go off people reading about the more clement weather you are having to suffer compared to us
Working all weekend unfortunately but done for the day now ... only two more days then some time off
