Default CD player to boot

Hi all how differcult is it to move the 6 disc multiplayer from the glove box to the boot . Is it just a new lead and possibly a bracket for the boot any help or ideas

I did it on my previous 75, it was fairly straight forward,



and if you search on here I recollect a post from Greeners with details of his installation. All I did was to cut and extend the loom for the cd player, and then route the cable down the driverside sill



I cobbled up some brackets out of old radio brackets in the tool box, and cut the trim to fit around it.

On the present 75 I have replaced the cd changer with a Grom unit and now use that to play all my music from my phone.

I did indeed move mine, and put it up under the parcel shelf.....

I'm in the process of doing this myself using OEM. I actually found the full length lead tucked in behind the dashboard so have a rummage there first.

As per OEM (call me a purist, realistically I'm just **** at fabricating anything myself) I've sourced the bracket that fits in the right hand side of the boot. It also holds the parking sensor box which I'm fitting at the same time. Part is numbered 5 in the diagram below.

If fitting as per OEM you will also need the brackets that fit onto the sides of the changer, numbered 3 and 4 in same diagram.
