Boot Mount CD

I have long planned to relocate the Alpine CD changer into the boot of my 2001 saloon.

From ebay I purchased a mounting bracket, which comes in two parts.
The lower half fixes onto the body, and holds the upper half, into which the changer fits.

It now appears that my bracket likely comes from a 2002 onwards car, and my assumption is that my CD bracket is for the Iovox or Siemans CD changer.

I of course, need the original Alpine Upper Bracket.

Whilst I could modify the upper part, better to have the correct part.

Might somebody have either the upper half, or a whole assembly to sell?

Probably like a rocking horse's tooth, but one day.......?

are you going to cut the carpet hole out to fit it ?

only asking as I'm wanting to go the other way and replace my carpet with one with no cutout ?
