Cannot believe this news, met Freddie at Kings Lynn and can only echo what others have said.
A truly lovely guy who would do anything for anybody.
Rest in peace Freddie god bless.

For those of you who never had the pleasure of meeting Freddie (and it WAS a pleasure) I thought I'd put a face to the name

... with thanks to Jeff (coolcat) for allowing my missus to hold his camera long enough to take the photo - and apologies to him too for cropping one of his photos

Just to say the members and staff from the OC raised a glass in Freddie’s memory this evening as we gathered for our evening meal here in Birmingham.

Even members who had never met Freddie said they had heard how much of a gentleman he was.

That’s a pretty good testament in my eyes.

Cheers Freddie, your mates are missing you.

The last pictures and videos I have for the late freddie R.I.P

freddie with the original Rover 75 that he parted with;

My car that freddie painted for me and even put on the same registration;

freddie and I eating fresh cream cakes;

and again;

freddie on the Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob (he loved any engine loud);

and last but not least the last video I done with him with his Rover P6 which he put a lot of time in

With respect to his family.

I will miss you Fred . . .

Very sad to hear.

Still have the issue of Practical Classics from 20 years ago in which he featured with his Rover P3. Great job he did with restoring that.

Met up with Jay, Andy and Debs, Pete and Mandy this evening for a meal at the Acle Bridge Inn where Freddie would often join us.
Raised a toast in remembrance of Freddie and all our other friends no longer with us.
