Default ABS Sensors...

Hello folks, I have an '01 75 diesel, auto. I need a rear brake censor. I purchased one from eBay but when my mechanic went to fit it yesterday he says it's the wrong one. The one I got has a blue coloured fitting on the end and the mechanic tells me I need one with a black end. Is there a specific part number for the censor I need? The company I purchased it from led me to believe it was the same censor for all models of Rover 75. The part number I have received is: SSBOOO160. Where should I source a censor? I'm not concerned about getting a genuine part as an x Rover dealer quoted me €70! Thanks in advance, Les.

SSB000160 would be the correct part number.

As above for the ABS sensor, but are you talking about the brake pad wear sensor - it sits on the offside rear and has a black plug?
