on the positive side it should be an easy repair. One of the traders on here should be able to sort you out a couple of doors in the right colour for less than the insurance excess and hike on next year's premium.

Then you can use the old doors to beat the tw@t round the head with when you find them.

Really gutted for you mate. Dont let the insurers write it off. Buy it back if it comes to that and get it repaired. I wish I had done that with my last one.

If the insurance assessor comes at says that it'll be written off as uneconomical to repair, phone your insurance company and withdraw the claim. They can't force you to claim.

At least that way it'll save having it 'recorded' as a Cat D (or maybe even a C).

At least then repairing it yourself, or taking it to a body shop, you won't have the added expense of a sharp hike in insurance premiums or loss of NCD.

You could also ask any of your neighbours if they've had any parcels delivered by Yodel, that also looks very similar to their green

Sorry to hear this Julien,
looks like your pride and joy too,
fingers crossed all sorted soon and you can get back to enjoying the car,
scum bags indeed,
Karma, what goes around comes around is what I always like to ponder,
If my estate had have been the same colour would have swapped the doors for you as has been bought for a charity rally next year and being made to look like ECTO I off ghost busters so panels being sprayed anyhow.

Gutted for you. Looking at the damage, that's got to be a van of some kind.
Try cleaning the transfer off with a bit of panel wipe or sparing use of white spirit or thinners. Give it a polish afterwards. It may not be perfect but will look a whole lot better until you can get it sorted properly.

Without someone to blame I wouldn't even go near an insurance company; most of them seem to want to write these cars off for a blown bulb.

Nasty piece of work that could do that sort of damage and not leave a note!
Total waste of oxygen that sort of person

Hope your car gets sorted to your satisfaction Julian.

Very sorry to see the damage, however all Yodel vans are white and wrapped in green so if you have any vinyl left on your car contact your local Yodel depot as they will know which van was delivering in your area at
The time and carefully check it on return to depot!
