Default Fitting new door skins

My 2003 Copperleaf Red Code CDX Connoisseur has dents/scratches in all 4 doors. I have located a similar 2003 scrapped Connoisseur which should have the same leather trim and contemplating swapping doors. Any pitfalls? How easy to fit doors, as I'm not useless at this sort of thing?

Hi
As Rotrex says, easy, but easier still if you have someone to help, in fact I would say essential,
As for cost, what is your time worth,?. It is up to you in the end.

Tip:

Before disconnecting the electrics, lower the window on the doors 30mm or so. makes it so much easier to handle the doors

Make sure you have some help!

I changed my drivers so on my own, and they is bleeding heavy and a pain to line up on your own.

Hi.
If it,s a genuine body shop and qualified panelbeaters/sprayers, No way should it take anywhere near a week to fit doors perfectly. Either the doors are twisted or your car is.
The first part of fitting doors is getting the hinge positions correct after that it is little adjustments and shims( if required ). 7 years in a body shop fitting panels in my sleep,( then I saw the light ) I may not be very good at explaining, but I can fit body parts.

Should be no need to alter hinge positions, remove the clip on each pin and lift the door off, disconnect loom. Refit replacement door
