Removing trim strip from boot lid on MK1 ZTT
Does this just pull off? its the trim strip that lines up with the ones on the bumper, just want to remove it to paint it as the lacquer is peeling?

Not true, the clips pass through the square loop that is part of the chrome finisher. As you can see the clip has a "spingy" location strip as part of the clip. Partly flatten and slide out. Do not at any cost try pulling the chrome finisher off without removing all clips.

ok thanks, will have a go tomorrow I think at sliding it out, its the one on the boot lid so cannot get behind it to get a clips, will let you know how I get on
