They restored a Blackpool Coronation tram but needed two goes at it. The original still had problems with the control unit and couldn't get full power, in the third series featuring Claire Barratt on her own with Suggs they rebuilt the control unit.

Anybody watch the drama documentary on BBC2 last night, "The Rat Pack" telling the story of the rivalry between Alex Higgins and Steve Davies. I hadn't intended watching it but got hooked, fascinating. I knew Alex Higgins was wild but didn't realise just how self destructive he was.

After a 50 mile run round the county to the transport museum .
It set up like small village with rides on the trams and buses.

We were parked in the museum itself not in the public car park which was nice.
