Well done Jim on picking up the Gryphon award, your car is superb. It's nice to think that a piece of my former car is on it..The mirrors.

Glad the weather held up and didn't spoil the proceedings. How many cars were present, and who was the longest traveller?

I did hear that Blue Jon had driven 369 miles just one way to get to the meet. Is that right? Christopher did mention the magic figure during his speech and I think it was over 50. I did not know your mirrors pab featured in the Gryphon Award. Interesting fact that. Jim did very well and many best wishes to him with the award and in the year ahead.

Yes Bluejon and Jan came the furthest at 367 miles each way, and of the 54 cars pledged, we had 47 on the day

First chance to post, must say it was a cracking day if a little chilly, thanks to all for coming and a big thanks to the venue who treated us extremely well and perhaps did more in promoting the 75/ZT than anyone else in a long time.

Rumour has it the local press who were there are also running an editorial on the event.

Please do, the more the merrier There was nice man with a big lens - an official photographer who took more random photos on behalf of the Botanical and they will be published on the National Botanical Web-site. We were very lucky with the weather and it was a very good turn out. Everyone had a good time

Just got back and unpacked after the weekend's activities and can I once again say a big thank you for such a wonderful turnout especially in light of an uncertain weather forecast.

As I approached the Second Severn crossing coming back earlier, who should I spot ahead of me but Mr Windrush in his still highly polished tourer. We enjoyed a mini convoy for two all the way up to the A34 at Newbury. What a nice bonus to end the weekend
