Default Facelift Grille

I've just had a brand spanky new Mk2 grille delivered to replace my broken one. Question - is it possible to swap them without hoiking the bumper off as they look like they just clip on?

i only thought it was possible with bumper off, but could be wrong.

10 minute job to take the bumper off, 10mm bolts along top, phillips screws from under neath, and two 10mm bolts on the indie of the wheel arch.

Just changed mine. You can't do it without taking the bumper off. There are two clip like things that lock the grille in place. You can only remove these from the inside. Think about spraying the grey bits in satin black. It looks the business.
