Yes, ultimately I'm sure I'll be doing my own servicing.
However, previous owner has just done filters etc. and it's been very regularly serviced in his ownership. He actually did the filters etc, between me buying it, and collecting it. very kind. Regards Mike

Hi ,,, I came about this thread because I,v just come back from checking my engine and noticed a slight spray of diesel from one of the connections to the fuel filter..When I say slight it is just that... When I started her up no spray..So I figure it just happens when I boot it,,(not very offten) Its a new to me car and I have to give it a all filters change ,,,So want to get this fixed ,,,any advice,,,,, oh yeah ,,Does the same fuel filter housing fit from the old 115bhp to the CDTI (like I,v got now) because my old girl was a 115 and is in the scrap yard just around the corner....Phil

Hi Phil. Always fit a new fuel filter, old ones can carry muck etc, check the hoses connected to the low pressure fuel pump on top of the fuel filter see if any have a tiny split? can you take photo of what you suspect may be wrong and post it up so we can take a look.

Reading through this thread made me think about changing my diesel filter. It's original and has been in the car now for 16 years.---
