We stopped doing it weekly with the price increase. Just do it now & again now. A 100% increase was too much to take for a twice weekly flutter.

Ive never played the national lottery because I think it is a con and the chances of winning are astronomical, I'd rather have my quid thankyou! and for a scratch cards you get 3.48 to 1 chance on a £1 card 3.38 to 1 on a £2 card and 3.12 to 1 on a fiver card! What an absolute rip off! an yes I have bought scratch cards before and hardly ever win anything!

First six monthe the lottery started we put a fiver a week on it. After six months we finally won £10. Never played since. Considering I've a better chance of being struck by lightening and never have after 51 years, I don't think I'm missing anything by not playing the lottery.
