Default head lights

Just a quick question Is it just me or does anyone else prefer the original twin head lights on the older car rather than the all in one style on the face lift cars

There is a definite split in members thoughts on this
and has been shown before.
I think its about 60:40 in preference to the old lights and general MK1 look.
Although I like both.

That's pretty much how I feel, although I like both variants of ZT pretty much equally.

It's not so much the headlamps I have a problem with on the facelift 75, more the grille - Apologies to facelift owners, but I really don't like it, I think it's far too sharp and pointy looking on an otherwise very round car. I do like the V8 grille though, I wish they'd used that for all the facelift cars.

As an example - I pointed out a facelift 75 to my girlfriend the other day (and only just realised how sad that sounds! ), and she said "Is that the model down from yours then? Doesn't look anywhere near as posh."

I think the Mk1 front looks meaner than the Mk2, especially on the ZT's

yes yes yes agree totally. MK1 ZT looks a totally meaner car all round.
What happened to the fantastic rear spoiler on the MK2,
"lip" spoiler what's that all about.

I like the mk1 on a 75, and the facelift zt, I quite like the little lip spoiler, I think the facelift on the 75 made it look too ordinary, more modern, less retro, it lost a bit of its charm after the nip tuck

MK1 for both 75 and ZT's for me.

The look is so much more refined that the single lights.

Same as, but the premium grille is fantastic!

Totally with you guys on this one.. Can't stand the Mk2 75, it looks like a Daewoo from the front.. Whereas the facelift ZT I absolutely love, and I fully intend to have one..

I'm one of the few people who doesn't like the Premium front bumper though.. Too much like an Audi for me..
