There is a real desire to buy and save the early ones. Like PPD cars, it is said they are better built but that’s up for debate.
Personally I prefer my TF. My next ambition is a TVR but that might take a couple of years saving up.

There's a nice TF (l think) where l have my workshop. Burgundy with matching leather interior. Hasn't moved for quite a while & parked on grass so not ideal. I think it belongs to the owner of the place & l don't think he likes selling stuff. It's a nice looking little thing though.

My MGF is a 1997 so a little later. Nice little cars!
Mine was imported to Canada from Japan so no tin worm. It really is a treat to work on as well as drive.
