Next month Derek, the temp at the equator changes from 28C down to 17C (our winter until the end of August), so as we get cooler, the weather in the UK usually hottens up, if that is any consolation

Good Morning Freddie, Alls well now with the car, The auto electrician found a fault in a wire someone had spliced into the ignition/alternator feed, I would never have found it in a month of Sundays.

It's now showing 14.4 volts going into the battery & I've no warning lights on the dashboard now.

The new car battery arrived yesterday evening & is now on the car so hopefully all's well. I'm going to take it for a spin later.
