Default I have bluebird!

I have found out that the Cowley 75 I have just got is the 75 that was used in a rally to go from the UK to Monaco. She was wrapped in a light blue with all the bluebird details.

Once I figure out how to upload photos I will do. She is without the wrap and the exhaust (That will be got and put back in in due course) she is back to her Wedgewood blue and Neptune interior as she was when new. The bodywork is a little sore now as its peeling. She needs a few small touches here and there but still mechanically sound other than what we think is a grumbly alternator bearing. You will see her at shows this year if there’s any and next year. She is currently wearing the union wheels, but my plans are to fit a period correct set of crowns as what she had when new.
We also think the car might be a press car as there’s a few 75s with the V… LOE reg number and also some press minis with the same style. So she has some interesting history to dig up and uncover.

You can use the image gallery link across the top of the page and create your own gallery, this then gives you a link to add to a post. I know the LOE mini’s and are definitely press cars
