I was surprised that more accidents did not happen during the lock-down. The roads around here were like a race track with one car that really stood out on one of my daily walks - a black AMG Merc - who must have been doing well over 100 in a 40MPH limit.

I have just seen two Discovery's on the M25 covered in mud certainly not an essential trip to the shops. Last weekend all sorts were about.

I would guess that there will be a spike in road accidents over the next few days, partially because of increased traffic, but also because when you haven't driven for a few weeks, you are not tuned to be quite as sharp in reactions or awareness.
