Default Richbrook Dis-Carnect Battery Immobiliser

Morning,
I have bought a battery isolator for my car from Halfords.
The isolator fastens onto the battery negative terminal without a problem but the earth cable does not fasten onto the isolator terminal securely ie. it's loose.
Any ideas on how I might "pack out" the isolator terminal so that the negative battery cable fastens on securely?
Thanks.
Regards David

David,

It looks like the terminal on the isolator is sized for the small pole type batteries.

I suspect an adaptor sleeve of the type below should fix the problem.

Well, I am about to indulge in a glass of Bailey's. I'll imagine it's courtesy of yourself David.

They probably had one of these in stock.--( As below. )--The cable goes in the round hole and a grub screw holds it in place.--Will obviously work for a variety of cable sizes.---

Good evening,
This is what I bought....

https://www.halfords.com/motoring/ca...er-249628.html

One end of the battery immobiliser will securely fasten to the negative terminal on the battery but the earth cable on the car is too large to securely fasten to the other end of the battery immobiliser.
I hope you understand what I am trying to say.
However I think Maninder's suggestion will cure the problem.
Thanks for your thoughts.
Regards David
