Default Clutch Judder Rover 75 tourer 2005

Ihave had this car from new. It has always had a clutch judder in first &
reverse, & as time goes on, it is worse.but only when cold, is the problem bad.
I was told that there is an inline valve, in the fluid line to the clutch, &
if dispensed with, a cure is affected. THere is an anti- judder kit available
on line for circa £38.
Has aanyone any constructive thoughts, please. I have read posts
regarding engine mounts, which have not been investigated. I have also
tried burning any potential high spots from the clutch ,the improvment,
being questionable, but certainly short lived.

No in line valve in the system, classic signs of a dual mass flywheel that’s gone out of spec.

I suffered from clutch judder for quite a while but Chris marshall spotted my rear engine mount was shot, replaced it and the end of the clutch judder. Beautiful to drive now, takes up so easily.

Oddly enough, my last ZT CDTi with a manual transmission had this issue - and while changing the engine mounts didn't cure it completely it did indeed help a lot.

The culprit (oddly enough) seemed to be the hydramount - the other 2 mounts looked OK, but the hydramount had lots all its fluid.
We have a kit of the 3 main mounts here:
https://www.dmgrs.co.uk/products/rov...gine-mount-set

Might be worth a try if yours look worn, as they're all likely past their best by now anyway.

As above, though - the DMF being out of spec is likely the root cause.
